A small, but select band of sisters and brothers this evening. All intent on contributing to a fine evening’s entertainment, which they managed with the usual aplomb.
Thanks are due to Lesley for the generous supply of an alphabetically themed birthday cake. It was elevated to special by the addition of a thick coating of chocolate. I admit to consuming two ps-Bob. Oh, and happy birthday wishes were conveyed in siarad Cymraeg by the grateful audience.

Notable amongst those we were to welcome back were Alice and David, whose camper van has been given its North Wales excursion. Malcolm made do with his nifty Fiat 500. Welcome back, indeed.

My book about tapeworms hasn’t arrived yet so I had to bore the gathered throng with tales of hearing loss and the history of the banjo. I also forgot to mention that a bible is a ruminant’s third stomach (its the folds- like paper, see). Don’t say you never learn anything on a Friday, or, more accurately, a Saturday morning.

We have a committee meeting this week via the magic of zoom. We will keep you abreast of developments re the refurbishment and any other relevant issues as appropriate. AGM soon too, so if you wanna be a boxer, or a sec or a treas or a chair, we will have forms etc available soon. The first reference is Bugsy Malone, though he is not on our committee, but you can be!
See you all next week.
